8” X 48” Ligna Bottom Arbor Gang For Sale
This is a split machine. The 48” Saw Bay is split
into 2-24” bays. (Could be converted to a Bottom Arbor Gang/Edger).
• 4 Coleman Feed Rolls per side driven.
• Coleman Press Rolls operated by Sheffer pneumatic cylinders.
• 300 HP Arbor drive motor.
• This machine was originally placed in service in March 1987 and was operating
until a recent closure of the mill.
Machine has been Fully Reconditioned. Disassembled and sand blasted. All
sprockets and chain inspected and replaced as necessary. We only reuse
components which show minimal wear, others are replaced new. Installed new
bearings. Checked Air valves and cylinders for general condition and proper
operation, replaced cylinder seals.
• If converted to a BAGE we would provide shifting bank to operate saws on
edging side, Ball Bearing collars, set works, and PLC
• 10 Ft In-feed with dead rolls, crowding chains, and straight edge. 14’ Outfeed
roll case driven off Gang.
