Technical Specifications:

• Process logs from 6” to 36” or 8” to 48” diameter and 6’ to 20’ long
• 12” to 16” wide X up to 15” diameter head. We offer Bark King, Hummer (24 or 42 tooth), and Rosser heads driven by 40 HP or 60 HP TEFC motor.
• C Belt sheaves with 6 or 8 belts depending on head and motor selection
• Bark King depth control shoes
• Hydraulic power provided by an integrated pump with onboard reservoir and controls
• Our pro pivot mount is 2” thick steel blocks pivoting on a 5” bronze bushing. Reduces bearing replacement on pivot shaft.
• We offer Parker or Sheffer 8” air cylinder for head control which utilizes a 4” heavy duty spring cylinder to reduce movement and stress placed on air cylinder greatly enhancing cylinder life
• Log rotation by 24” diameter bull wheels from ½” plate steel. HR-2 hubs provide extra strength and durability. Driven by hydraulic motor through heavy duty gear box speed reducer
• Bull wheel shaft is 2-15/16” diameter CRS on 6X36 models and 3-7/16” CRS on 4x48 heavy duty model. Mounted in either CAN-AM 4-bolt, pillow block, split bearings with urethane inserts or in dodge split babbit. Experience has shown that the urethane inserts provide similar wear and are far more economical to replace versus split babbit bearings.
• Log ejection by 6 log kickers welded on solid steel shaft (2-7/16” or 2-15/16” diameter) and mounted by 2-bolt split babbit bearings
• Kickers moved by pneumatic cylinder(s)
• Buggy constructed of heavy wall tube steel and 1” plate. We offer oversized buggy wheels with heavier duty bearings for longer wheel life
• Operator cab protects operator from dangerous noise and debris. Can be equipped with heat/air conditioning
